Overview
Visit the District Six Museum and the surrounding streets where over 60,000 people were forcibly removed from their homes under apartheid. This tour is one of the most personal and moving heritage experiences in Cape Town, often guided by a former resident who lived through the removals.
You'll walk through the museum's floor map, hand-annotated by former residents marking where their homes once stood, before stepping outside to see what remains of the neighbourhood today. See Rules & Requirements below before you book.
